Buddy Bears:
are small stuffed bears, ABATE Chapters can purchase and then distribute to emergency first-responders like EMT's, Fire Departments etc.In the event of a traumatic incident or accident involving a child, emergency responders will give one of these bears to the child. It has been proven in times of crisis that such an item will help take the child's mind off the event and focus on something else.
Each year, a group of Tri-County members deliver Buddy Bears by motorcycle to several local fire departments. Each Fire Department stop is received with warm appreciation and first hand stories detailing how much they really mean to children in times of crisis.

Minnesota Washout:
every year in May, riders and their families pitch in to raise awareness of motorcycle safety. At rest areas and gas stations across the state, motorcyclists wash windshields, hand out motorcycle information and ask car drivers to Start Seeing Motorcyclists. Each year our chapter schedules a Saturday or Sunday and several members have a great time visiting with motorists at a rest area south of New Market off Hwy 35!
